The unexpected Hail Storm

Walt:Write a weather poem using strong verbs.

The unexpected hailstorm

Little rocks drumming on the roof
All a sudden it all goes poof
Small white Maltese fall from the sky
10 minutes later it all goes dry
The hail starts to cover the grass
While the birds fly right pass
The hail come fast and rough
I can’t concentrate I've had enough
In the classroom is where we stay
Hopping for a better day

  1. Hi Sanele, I is Kaedun your Bro from your school and that was an unexpected Hailstorm back then. I like how you made it rhyme And added heaps of detail to your work. You are a good poem maker You should be one when you're older there was nothing bad about your work or nothing that needs improving but at least one picture.
Hope to see more of your poems I would like to catch up on some of your work.

  2. Hi Sanele it is Kurtis from St.Bernadette's school and I like the way you used lots of descriptive language in your poem. what I think you should do next time is make your poem a bit longer. how could you make your poem longer. By the way you did a great job.
